Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Reskill, operated by Advantage IT and Business Consulting Inc. ("Reskill", "we", "us"). By using Reskill, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to use Reskill, and able to enter into a binding contract.
2. What Reskill is
Reskill is an AI-assisted career-transition tool. It helps you identify a target role, surface your experience, and produce career materials (such as CVs, LinkedIn content, and interview practice) and helps you organize your job search.
3. AI-generated content & the "Monika" persona
Responses and materials are generated by artificial intelligence built on Monika Renée's coaching method. The on-screen coach ("Monika") is an AI assistant, not a live human, and does not provide professional, legal, financial, immigration, or employment advice. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before relying on or submitting it (for example, ensuring a generated CV is accurate and truthful about your real experience).
4. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including interviews, job offers, salary, or employment. Career results depend on many factors outside our control.
5. Your responsibilities & acceptable use
- Provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- Do not misrepresent your experience, or use generated content to deceive employers.
- Only enter other people's personal information (e.g. networking contacts) where you are permitted to.
- Do not abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account. Saving a free report or scoring a CV with your email creates an account and sends you a sign-in link. You can request deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
7. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans and add-ons are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. Prices and features are shown in the app and may change with notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel to stop future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
8. Intellectual property
The service, its software, and its content (excluding your inputs and your generated materials) are owned by Advantage IT and Business Consulting Inc. or its licensors. You retain rights to the personal content you input; you grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the service.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advantage IT and Business Consulting Inc. and its directors, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, income, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or CAD $100 if you paid nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Advantage IT and Business Consulting Inc. harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using Reskill at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your province.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms; we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
